Relationship Tips For Women
The most common complaint I hear from women today in our society is that they are frustrated with their man.
This frustration comes from their feeling that he does not understand nor care about her feelings and refuses to communicate about what is important.
Essentially, she is feeling alone in the relationship and does not know how to connect him with her and their relationship. She will try everything she knows to do establish closeness with him. However, the problem is that she is doing this through what I like to call “women speak.”
The best relationship help I give to women in this situation is to first and foremost shift their style of communicating!
This often sounds shocking to women because they are used to talking with their man the same way they would talk with their girlfriends. They also will feel very confused by this, as they never were told that connecting with their man takes special communication skills. Therefore, allow me to share this here, communicating with a man in the manner that you would speak with another woman does not work!
The bottom line is men and women are different. We process information, feelings, and thoughts in unlike ways. Therefore, when a woman tries to interact with her man in the way that is natural to her she will end up feeling very discouraged.
Is this to say that men do not want to communicate or connect with their woman?
It does mean that the way men do this is not the same way as women do it. There are certain communication skills both men and women need to learn in order to have a great relationship.
Being that this is such a vital part of a thriving relationship, I provided these skills in the It’s That Simple! relationship help books for men and women.
Each book teaches the man or woman how to communicate with their partner in a way their partner will hear and understand.
Once a man or a woman has this knowledge, their ability to communicate about their thoughts, feelings, desires, and issues is incredible. They are empowered to effectively and successful share their message with their partner.
If you are like most women, then you do need to learn how to talk with your man in a way that leaves you and him feeling heard, understood, and resolved.
