Relationship Help Tips

From Relationship Expert Bree Maresca-Kramer M.A.

When you think about relationships being similar to a plant, which requires attention, care, and nurturing to continue to grow and stay alive, you are able to gain a new perspective on why so many couples need help with their relationship.

One of the first reasons issues creep up in a relationship is the fact that one or both partners have forgotten to take care of their partner and/or their relationship. This common trap can come in all different forms and degrees, which produce different levels of problems. For example, a couple could experience minor irritation with one another all the way to full-blown contempt for one another.

Another major cause men and women experience relationship problems is because of a lack of personal responsibility. Instead of looking at themselves and what they may be doing that is harming the relationship, they blame their partner.  Taking personal responsibility can be very difficult, as it requires us to honestly look within and witness the parts of us that are not so easy to see.

Finally, when one or both partners loss the empathy and compassion for their partner, conflict is sure to follow. When we are able to step into our partner’s shoes so to speak to understand their perspective, we are opening the door to understanding and a stronger relationship. However, when we insist on holding onto being right and refusing to look at the other side, we are setting up a battleground.

Relationship Help Tips:

  1. Always keep your partner and relationship as a top priority.
  2. Always look for your part in the problem.
  3. Always try to understand your partner’s perspective.
  4. Understand how unresolved conflict causes damage in your relationship.
  5. Pay attention, care, and nurture your partner and relationship each day.
  6. Never sweep issues under the rug hoping they will go away on their own.
  7. If you have relationship problems get help from a relationship expert asap.

Being in a relationship with someone you love is a precious gift. When we treat it as so it remains a gift, when we forget this and allow life, stress, or outer circumstances to negatively impact it, there is a good chance we can lose what is most important to us.

Help For Dating Relationships

Help From Relationship Expert Bree Maresca-Kramer M.A.

  • “How do I meet someone?”
  • “Why are all men afraid to commit?”
  • “Why are women so crazy?”
  • “Does online dating work?”
  • “What does a woman want?”
  • “What is he looking for?”
  • “Why can’t I find a good guy?”
  • “Why do the ones I like dump me?”

These are just some of the questions I receive from men and women who are struggling and looking for help in the dating world.

Dating today has become as complicated as our lives and schedules!

The advancement in technology has brought many great things but the one negative is how it has negatively impacted dating.

People are having a more difficult time making and keeping the interpersonal connections with one another because they are relying on computers and their phones. Instead of making a human-to-human connection, bites of interest are being tossed around without any real investment. When this happens, it is easy to toss in the towel and walk away before any relationship even begins.

So how can you figure it all out and find the right one for you?

Here are three simple tools I like to give to help people with their dating relationships:

  1. Know What You Want!
  2. Be Clear On What You Absolutely Cannot Deal With!
  3. Fish In The Right Pool!

When I work with a man or woman who is having trouble with their love life, these are the first things we address and fix.  Generally, these are the areas that most single people have problems and need help with.  For this reason, I hand-hold my clients through a simple process of understanding who they are, what they want, and how to attain it!

For when you have a clear vision of the type of partner you want to have in your life and know how to find and keep them…dating really does becomes simple!

If I can help you with your dating or relationships please feel free to contact me here!

Relationship Help Advice For Women: Stop Nagging Start Listening!

Important Relationship Help Advice For Women!

I love working with women helping them understand their man and fix their relationship. One of the most common mistakes women make that creates relationship problems is “nagging” their man. I put the word nagging in quotation marks because for a woman she does not consider it nagging but for a man  he does.

To further explain; when a woman wants her man to do something what does she do? Generally, she will ask him to do it. Now, what happens when he forgets, puts it off, or dismisses her? You guessed it, she asks him again. This pattern continues until she becomes angry and proceeds to tell him to do it. Do you see the critical mistake here?

So what kind of relationship help advice do I give women to avoid this problem?

Listen!

Yes, listen.  When a woman actually hears the underlying message her man is conveying to her, she is empowered in her relationship.

How?

When she becomes an active listener, she understands how to relate with and to her man. This may sound like “therapist talk” but it incredibly helps relationships to thrive.

Here is a common example:

A couple has a conversation about the very busy week ahead. During the talk the man shares that he gets overwhelmed when there is too much on his plate at once so he likes to do one thing at a time. The woman shares that she likes to get lots of things done at once in order to get everything off her plate as soon as possible.

During the middle of the hectic week she asks him to fix the door handle that is loose. He tells her he will and mentally puts it on his list. Can you see where this is going now?  She will continually ask and then tell him to take care of the door handle until they both become angry and he thinks she is nothing but an unhappy nag!

If she had heard what he was telling her, she would understand how he best operates in life and never would have added to his schedule. Instead, she would have waited until his schedule lightened up, gently let him know how important it is to her to have the door fixed, and then let him do it in his time.

The ironic part of relationships between men and women is that it is so easy to avoid and/or fix this through effective communication.

If you need some help in your relationship with understanding and getting along with your partner I can help you in two ways.

The first is to suggest you read

It’s That Simple!
A Woman’s Book On Relationships, Life, Ourselves and The Healing Of It All

You will find incredible relationship help information, tools, and skills (including how to effective communication skills) to create an amazing relationship.

The second way I can help you is to work with you directly. We would do this via telephone or Skype sessions.  If you would like my help please feel free to reach me here.

Dating Tips For Guys

Dating & Relationship Help From Expert Bree Maresca-Kramer M.A.

Dating can be very challenging for many guys. This can be due to a lack of experience, not having a clue as to what women want, not understanding women, and/or not having the right confidence.

All of these factors can create havoc in a guy’s dating life. He can waste his time and money while ending up with a broken heart. So here is some help with a few of my…

Dating Tips For Guys

  • Know What You Are Looking For In A Woman!

This is one of the biggest mistakes a guy can make. When a man does not know the type and qualities he wants in a relationship he will randomly pick women primarily based on their looks or body type.

  • Pre Qualify The Woman Before You Ask Her Out!

When a guy knows what kind of woman will best fit him and what he is looking for, it is best to ask the woman he is interested in some pertinent questions. This saves him from unneeded frustration and aggravation in his life.

  • Treat Her Well But Don’t Be A Wimp!

Women want to be treated well by a guy. They want him to be a gentleman and chivalrous. However, they do not want a guy that is so eager to please that they can walk all over him. This is often where nice guys get into trouble with women.  They think they are doing the right thing by overly pleasing her but in the end she will lose respect and end up taking advantage of him or walking away from him.

  • Never Play Games With Her!

This is one of the top concerns I hear from women. They do not want a man who plays games. If a woman likes a man, she wants him to pursue her openly and authentically without any games or drama.

  • Have Self-Respect & Good Self-Esteem!

There is nothing more attractive and sexy then a man who is confident.  However, this confidence must be authentic and not a superficial ego-based one.  When a man knows who he is and feels good about himself that radiates out of him naturally and is a major turn on for women!

  • Lead & Guide Her Down Your Dating Path!

This is one most guys miss and find amazing when I help them with it. When I work with a man who is having some dating problems, I teach him how to be the “lead” in the dating process. I walk him step-by-step on how to guide and create the dating life he wants. This could be dating lots of women or it could be finding the one special woman to have a great relationship/marriage with. In either case, the man must take the lead. The problem is that many guys have no idea how to do this and need some help with it.

The fact is that when you know what you want and how to create it, a successful dating life is not only possible it is inevitable! If you would like help you with your dating life or relationship reach me here.

Lost When It Comes To Dating Women?

Relationship Help & Dating Advice For Men

The dating world today can be overwhelming to both men and women. Why? Greatly because the gender roles have been completely flipped upside down leaving men and women unsure as to how to date and be in relationship with one another.

Men are being faced with independent successful women who are used to doing everything for themselves and do not want to be told what to do while women are dealing with men who have no idea how to treat them. This has created a massive gap between the sexes and left many wanting to give up.

The great news is that once you understand and learn what makes a woman tick, what she wants, and how to talk with her….all of this goes away!

I help men with dating and their relationships by walking them through a simple process of learning about women. If he already has a woman in his life then I teach him specifically about her.

How do I do this? I will work with him one-on-one via phone sessions until he has all of the information necessary to turn his love life around. I evaluate what is going wrong and teach him how to easily fix it immediately.

The relationship help and dating advice for men I provide includes…

  • What Women Are Really Looking For In A Man
  • How To  Draw A Woman To You
  • How To Determine If A Woman Is The Right One
  • How To Talk With A Woman So She Understands You
  • How To Listen To A Woman So You Understand Her
  • How To Successfully Date & Create A Great Relationship

As soon as a man learns and applies this information his entire love life changes!

Stuck in the dating world or need some help with the woman in your life?

I will show you how to fix it right away!

What Women Really Want On Valentine’s Day!

Overwhelmed and confused by how to make Valentines special for the woman in your life? Then you are not alone! Most men are left scratching their head and wishing this “made up” holiday never existed.

I have to agree that the pressure put on men to show up big on February 14th is not fair. As well, this day can create problems in the relationship that do not need to be there!

So here is some relationship help advice for men to handle this red-heart candy day!

Relationship Help Advice for Men #1:

Be Original!

Women love when their man puts their unique stamp on Valentines day. Anyone can go to the card shop and pick up some flowers but when a man thinks about how to make it different for his love he scores big! However, how can a man do this when he has no idea where to begin? Here are some suggestions that you can take and make your own.

  • Lay out some clean sand onto a tray. Then use your finger to draw a heart and put your and her name inside it. Sprinkle some rose petals around it and you have yourself a sure fire way to melt her heart!
  • Take your favorite picture of the two of you and put it a frame that you have engraved with your personal message of love for her. She will be sure to fall for your efforts.
  • Plan a romantic night under the stars with her favorite food, flowers, and a love letter from your heart. This is guaranteed to set the sparks flying!

Relationship Help Advice for Men #2:

Think From Your Heart!

Whatever gift or plans you make for your sweetheart do it from your heart and not your head. Through caution to the wind and let your heart guide you. Women love when a man does this because it shows her how much he cares and loves her. It does not have to be complicated or expensive just heart felt.

Relationship Help Advice for Men #3:

Know Your Woman!

This is really important in making this a special day for her. If your woman loves yellow tulips the do not get her red roses. If she likes romantic walks on the beach make that happen. If she wears white gold jewelry then make your purchase within her taste. The bottom line here is to know what she likes and make your plans around her likes, wants, and desires!

What Every Man Should Know About His Woman!

Relationship Help Advice For Men

It is absolutely amazing that so many men today are actively seeking the answers and help needed to make their relationship work! There has been a great turn around over the last two decades from men ignoring or walking away from relationship problems to facing them and seeking help.

Here is a quick list of top relationship help pointers for men:

  1. She secretly wants you to be her knight in shinning armor!
  2. She wants you to care enough to want to “hear” her!
  3. She wants you to always show her how much you love her!

As a man, you may read this list and think, “What??? How can I do all that?”

In reality, when a man knows and understands fully what his woman wants it is very simple to deliver it. I use the word simple because that is the truth of the situation—it is simple when you know what to do!

Men end up not delivering what their woman wants not because they do not care but simply because they do not understand what she wants.

When I work with a man to help him with his relationship, I teach him exactly:

  1. What she means by the things she tells him!
  2. What she really wants  from him but doesn’t tell him!
  3. How to successfully deliver it!

When I do this with my male clients, they always say to me, “That’s it? If I do that she will be happy?”They are shocked and amazed by how simple it is to make her happy.

The bottom line is that most men want to make their woman happy. Their intention is good; their desire to accomplish this is there but the information and “how to” is lacking.

If you are in this boat and want to lean how easy it is to make her happy and have a great relationship with her there are two ways I can help you.

The first is to work with you directly. We will do this over the phone once a week until you have everything you need to have the best relationship of your life.

The second is to read the It’s That Simple! A Man’s Book On Relationships.  This book lays out everything you need to know about yourself and your woman and gives you the help to have a great relationship.

If you would like to work with me directly you can reach me here.

Why Some Relationships Don’t Work!

Relationship Help Advice From Expert Bree

As each human is unique so is each relationship. However, there are some universal threads that tend to occur in most unhappy relationships. These elements either lead the couple to seek help for their relationship or simply end it. In many cases, with the right help, a dysfunctional relationship can heal and transform into a thriving one.

The main pitfalls in a relationship that are not working can be looked at on two different levels. The first of these is the easily identifiable surface level.  This could include obvious incompatibility, personality clashes, poor communication skills, lack of conflict resolution skills, and/or faulty coping mechanisms.

In each of these areas, it is very easy to recognize the presence of the issues in the relationship. Those who know or are around the couple could easily pick out what is being displayed within the relationship. However, often the couple themselves cannot so readily see these surface level problems for they are too caught up in the emotional aspect of the relationship.

The second way to understand why a relationship is not working is to look at the deeper issues within each person and how those are being played out in the relationship. Generally, most people cannot do this on their own and require the relationship help from a professional.

Some of these may involve issues from a dysfunctional childhood, which could have included abuse (physical, mental, emotional, or sexual), addictions, or poor parenting. It may also have to do with personality disorders or mental health issues such as depression or bi-polar disorder.

The good news is that if both partners are willing to save their relationship and have the right help they can!

If you are looking for relationship help you can reach me here.

Top 5 Questions About Relationships Men & Women Ask

Relationship Help Advice For Men & Women

As a relationship expert I am often asked, “Bree what are the most common questions about relationships men and women ask you?”

Here is the list of the 5 most common relationship questions and my relationship help answers:

1. Why Are Relationships So Hard?

Relationships do not have to be hard! Men and women who experience a “hard” relationship are doing so because they either are extremely incompatible and/or do not have the right relationship help skills. However, in most cases, this can be fixed. When the two people in the relationship have the love and desire to make it work, they can. How can I be so sure? Simply stated because I have witnessed it time and again with the couples I have worked with. Those that want it to work, do what it takes and make it happen.

2. Why Doesn’t He Listen To Me?

He is listening, however, she is not feeling heard. This is one of the biggest breakdowns in communication with men and women. They each are talking and trying to listen but the messages are not being delivered or received correctly. That is the main reason I put in the It’s That Simple! book for men and It’s That Simple! book for women, a step-by-step guide on how to effectively communicate with one another. When couples learn how to talk and listen to one another, their relationship moves past the frustration, anger, and resentments into a understanding, peaceful, and a happy relationship.

3. Why Is She Never Happy With Anything I Do?

Generally, because what you are doing and what she is expecting are two different things. She is looking for you to either say or do things that you are unaware of or are not capable of doing. In this case, it is vital to talk about each other’s feelings and expectations openly and authentically with one another.

4. How Often Do Most Married Couples Have Sex?

This depends on the length of time the couple has been married. In the honeymoon phase it can be several times a day. Then as the marriage matures, the love deepens, and they have children the amount of sex they have lessens. The average is around two to three times a week. However, for some couples, especially when their children are small, it can be once or twice a month. Later in life, the sex can stop all together, however, the couple and their marriage can still be very happy. If there are any signs of a low libido or high levels of stress this all natural product can really help heal that and restore a healthy sex life for a couple.

5. Should I Stay Or Leave This Relationship?

Deciding to remain in a relationship or move on is a very important one depending on many factors. I always advise to try everything possible first, including getting professional relationship help before deciding to end a relationship. Frequently, issues that are creating feelings of wanting to go can easily be addressed and healed with the help of a relationship professional. If you are experiencing this and need some help reach me here.
