Relationship Help Advice For Men & Women
Relationship Help Advice For Men & Women From Relationship Expert Bree
Bree Maresca-Kramer M.A. a Nationally Recognized Relationship Expert and relationship coach answered these relationship help questions couples often deal with. Here are her top five answers when it comes to relationship advice for men and women.
Relationship Help Advice For Men & Women From Relationship Expert Bree #1:
How can couple avoid losing the passion in their relationship?
No couple ever wants to end up in a love-less and passion-less relationship. However, many couples do because they allow life’s obligations and responsibilities to take over. This may sound like a no brainer but all it takes is carving our some time each day to connect with one another on a feeling level and once a week on an romantic level.
Relationship Help Advice For Men & Women From Relationship Expert Bree #2:
How can a woman help her relationship improve?
I have heard it time and again from men in unhappy relationships…they hate being told what they are doing wrong or not good enough. Therefore, the number one thing a woman can do is to stop nagging and complaining to her man. Instead she should focus on what he is doing right and effectively communicate those areas that need some help versus putting him down or scolding him.
Relationship Help Advice For Men & Women From Relationship Expert Bree #3:
Is there something a man can do to help his relationship stay strong?
Absolutely! He can treat his woman the way he did when he was pursing her. He can tell her how beautiful, desirable and special she is to him. A common trap most men fall into is forgetting to do this after they have their woman. It is almost as if once they have captured her they put a check mark in that box and shift their focus to other things in their life. A man who can always treat his woman like she is so precious to him is a man who will keep her!
Relationship Help Advice For Men & Women From Relationship Expert Bree #4:
After having a baby, do couples have a difficult time with their relationship?
Many times this is true because they are trying to adjust to parenthood and sleep deprivation. This is the time when I tell couples to hold on and be very conscious of how difficult this time can be for their relationship. The best thing new parents can do is realize that their relationship has changed because their new baby needs so much time and attention. The great news is that this is only temporary and if they stay unite as a team and support one another through this very joyous and stressful time they will make it.
Relationship Help Advice For Men & Women From Relationship Expert Bree #5:
What is the number one relationship advice you give to couples?
It sounds cliché but it is absolutely necessary-effective communication! When a couple is able to share with one another what is going on within them, either good or not so good, they will keep their emotional intimacy strong. By doing this they are making a bridge to keep their physical intimacy intact as well.

Relationship Help For Single Women & Dating From Expert Bree Maresca-Kramer M.A.
Relationship Help For Women & Dating
Relationship Help For Women & Dating From Expert Bree Maresca-Kramer M.A.
Many women come to me exasperated that their dating life is in disarray! These women want to know why they cannot find the right man to have a relationship with. To help I have put together some relationship help tips for single women stuck on a bad merry-go-round in the dating world!
Relationship Help For Women & Dating From Expert Bree #1:
The top mistake women make while dating is not valuing themselves. A woman must first love and accept herself to be truly fulfilled and then desirable to a man. A woman who does not feel good about who she is will automatically turn good men off. There is nothing more repulsive to a man than a woman who is desperate and willing to accept anything. So be kind, loving, and gentle to yourself as you love and accept all of who you are!
Relationship Help For Women & Dating From Expert Bree #2:
Another common error single women make is having too many unrealistic standards or requirements. As this narrows the possibility of meeting the right guy down too much. The best course of action for women to take is to be clear on their deal breakers. Deal breakers are the big issues that involve their feelings and desires on marriage, children, faith, career, and the type of relationship they are looking for. So taking off the “he must have blue eyes” and replacing that with something like, “he must want children” is vital in picking the right one.
Relationship Help For Women & Dating From Expert Bree #3:
Many women are looking for the fairy tale romance and end up passing on men that would make great partners. I always advice the single women I work with to give a good man the proper chance. This suggestion comes even if fireworks did not go off on their first date. After all, what single women are looking for is a real and lasting relationship not just a temporary good time!
Relationship Help For Women & Dating From Expert Bree #4:
One of the most important aspects of dating is the pre-qualification process. This is when you take the time to qualify the new man to see if he is a potential mate. This is the time to ask pertinent questions that will reveal to you if you and he are on the same page concerning your deal breakers. For example, asking “where do you see yourself next year?” or “what do you like to do in your spare time?” Asking the right questions helps a single women avoid the wrong guy and waste her time.
Relationship Help For Women & Dating From Expert Bree #5:
Finally, one of the most relevant mistakes single women are making today is acting like men. Men are already men and do not want another man to date and possibly marry. Men are looking for a real woman who is confident in who she is but allows him to be the man. Many women today have lost their femininity and are in need as to how to uncover it again.

Relationship Help Advice From Expert Bree: Recovering From An Infidelity
Bree Maresca-Kramer M.A. is a nationally recognized relationship expert and relationship coach who generously gave us some her time on the topic of infidelities and relationships. If you are facing the betrayal of infidelity read Bree’s relationship help answers to our questions below
Relationship Help Advice From Expert Bree #1:
Bree Do relationships always have to end when a person cheats?
Great question and the answer is absolutely not! A person has two basic choices when they discover their partner has cheated. Either they can decide to work through the infidelity in order to save their relationship or they can simply end the relationship and move on in their lives. If the relationship was not abusive or harming, I always suggest trying to work through the infidelity before completely giving up on the relationship especially if it were a marriage. Over the last fifteen years I have helped many couples not only get through an infidelity but create an amazing relationship and marriage!
Relationship Help Advice From Expert Bree #2:
In your experience Bree why do most people cheat?
I have found that most men and women cheat because their relationship is lacking an important element. Due to this, they look outside of their relationship in order to get their needs met. The key here is to figure out what important piece of the relationship is missing and then fix it. For some couples it is a lack of quality communication while for others it is a lack of emotional or physical intimacy.
Relationship Help Advice From Expert Bree #3:
How do you help couples get through a infidelity and stay together?
I partner with the couple and together we walk through the process of healing dysfunctional behavioral and thought processes that brought them to the infidelity in the first place. I work with each partner separately and then together as a couple to ensure the correct issues are being addressed and healed. The key part in this process is having both partners willing to save their relationship. If one does not want to stay it usually will not work. However, if both people want the relationship and they follow my healing process the success rate is extremely high!
Relationship Help Advice From Expert Bree #4:
What have you found is the biggest hurdle in getting past an infidelity?
Believe it or not it is one-hundred percent forgiveness. Both men and women have a difficult time moving all the way through the forgiveness process. They will forgive but not completely, which ultimately leads to more damage in the relationship. When people understand that forgiving their partner does not mean they condone the cheating or accept it but instead are choosing to move past it they are able to completely forgive.
Relationship Help Advice From Expert Bree #5:
What would you suggest to a couple who want to get past infidelity?
First and foremost is to work with a neutral third party who is educated, credentialed, and experienced with working with couples. Many couples just cannot do the necessary therapeutic work that is necessary on their own. If they try they often end up creating more damage by blaming and shaming their partner. All couples will face some difficulties in their relationship but when it comes to an infidelity I always suggest getting some professional help to get through it and save their relationship.

Relationship Expert Bree’s Relationship Help Advice for Men #2:
Always be the man. This may seem confusing with today’s modern woman but deep down women want the man to be the man. When a man allows his woman to run over him she loses respect and ultimately attraction for him.
Relationship Expert Bree’s Relationship Help Advice for Men #3:
She wants to feel safe with you! A woman wants to feel that she is safe emotionally and physically with the man she loves. When a man provides this for a woman their relationship will flourish!
Relationship Expert Bree’s Relationship Help Advice for Men #4:
She knows you want sex! Women know that men are primarily sexually driven. What they want their men to know is that they need to feel connected to a man emotionally to feel sexually driven with him. Therefore, you initialing sex without having emotionally connected with her will usually end up in rejection. Over time, this pattern will ruin your relationship.
Relationship Expert Bree’s Relationship Help Advice for Men #5:
Your woman wants to be heard by you. This is probably the biggest problem area in male-female relationships. Communication between the sexes is a road filled with many potholes! That is why I dedicated a whole chapter in the It’s That Simple! relationship help books for men and women on effective communication. Relationship Help For Couples From Expert Bree Maresca-Kramer M.A.
After working with men, women, and couples for over fifteen years I have seen consistent patterns that end up negatively affecting relationships. No one enters into a relationship thinking, “Wow can’t wait until this fails!” Everyone enters into a relationship hoping it will last. Therefore, here are five relationship help tips to help relationships avoid these common traps.
Relationship Help For Couples From Expert Bree Tool #1:
Talking. Many couple stop talking about the good stuff and end up only talking about the stressful things in their lives. When you first get together you share your thoughts, beliefs, and dreams. This is a very bonding type of communication that always needs to continue. So in addition to talking about the grocery list talk about what is going on for you in your heart.
Relationship Help For Couples From Expert Bree Tool #2:
Enjoying. Often couples will stop doing the things they enjoy doing together because life gets in the way. This is a huge mistake. If you both enjoy boating then it should remain a part of your life together. Making the time to enjoy things together is a vital piece of keeping a relationship together.
Relationship Help For Couples From Expert Bree Tool #3:
Sex! Everyone wants to feel sexy and desirable to their partner. When couples forget this and treat each other as roommates the relationship is doomed to fail. Telling and showing your partner how much you desire them is extremely important in the health of your relationship. Then taking the next step and having regular sex is just as important!
Relationship Help For Couples From Expert Bree Tool #4:
Emotional Intimacy! When we share what is in our heart and minds with our partner we are creating an emotional bond. Couples that are happy and stay together have a very tight emotional connection. They relate to one another as best friends, lovers, and partners who look out for each other’s best interest.
Relationship Help For Couples From Expert Bree Tool #5:
Avoid avoidance! Every couple will face difficult times either in their own lives or in the relationship. That being said, all issues and problems need to be addressed head on and not swept under a rug. Couples that address the issue and then work together as a team to find a solution are the ones that make it.
The It’s That Simple! Relationship Help Books for men and women are amazing tools to help couples overcome the common traps most couples face.

Relationship Help Expert Bree Maresca-Kramer M. A. Tells Us How To Keep The Passion Alive!
Many couple who have all of the basic elements to having a great relationship fall short when it comes to keeping their spark going. This happens most often due to daily life stressors taking precedent over their intimacy level. Here are five great relationship help tips to keep the passion alive in your relationship!
Relationship Help Expert Bree: How To Keep The Passion Alive Tip #1:
Remembering! Always remember how much your partner meant to you in the early stages of your relationship. Bring to mind how amazing you thought your partner was when you first met. Then write down on all of the great qualities that initially attracted you to your partner.
Relationship Help Expert Bree: How To Keep The Passion Alive Tip #2:
Focusing! Make the conscious choice to focus your attention on the good qualities you found so attractive when you first meet, those that you now know as well, and all the good in your relationship. Focus your awareness on the good in your partner and choose to ignore those things that you find irritating, like when he does not remember to take out the trash.
Relationship Help Expert Bree: How To Keep The Passion Alive Tip #3:
Tell! Now that you are remembering and are focusing on the great things about your partner and relationship, speak it out loud! Tell your partner each day how much you appreciate him or her. For instance you could say something like, “Honey, I love how thoughtful you are.” Doing this at least once a day will increase the bond and intimacy level in your relationship.
Relationship Help Expert Bree: How To Keep The Passion Alive Tip #4:
Show! Once a day show your partner that you are thinking of them. This can be done is a very simple way. For example. A simple post it note saying “I love you” left where they will find it works wonders. The grand romantic gestures are wonderful but it is the daily connection that keeps a relationship thriving.
Relationship Help Expert Bree: How To Keep The Passion Alive Tip #5:
Enjoy! Take time each day and each week to enjoy one another’s company. This means taking a walk together, watching a movie together, cooking together, snuggling, kissing, and making love! The point is to spend quality enjoyable time together even if it is just fifteen minutes a day to ensure the longevity of your relationship.
I love working with couples and teaching them how to not only have a great relationship but one of their dreams!

Dating & Relationship Help

The expectations men and women have about their perfect partner and relationship often creates an incredible amount of dysfunction when looking for love. Instead of remaining open to all the possibilities the narrow criteria can make any potential partner seem inadequate and a new relationship feel disappointing.
Dating & Relationship Help Advice from Relationship Expert Bree #1:
Always be clear on what type of partner you are most compatible with in a relationship. For example, you may desire a partner who is extremely wealthy but operate well within a relationship with someone who is emotionally available. Therefore, meeting a rich man who is emotionally unavailable is not a good pick.
Dating & Relationship Help Advice from Relationship Expert Bree #2:
Dictating what type of occupation, education level, and physical attributes your potential partner must have, needlessly limits your potential mates. A relationship should never be based on how hot or rich someone is. A real and lasting relationship is based on core qualities such as honesty, integrity, character, commitment, effective communication, and most importantly respect and love.
Dating & Relationship Help Advice from Relationship Expert Bree #3:
Limiting your search to one or two avenues blocks a whole world of possible partners. Many times men and women will dictate that they will find a relationship online, in a bar, in the gym, or at church. They put all their focus into this one venue and miss great opportunities along the way. If you are at the grocery store and are thinking about getting home to check your online dating site, you may just miss the singles available in the produce section!
Dating & Relationship Help Advice from Relationship Expert Bree #4:
Clear away any self-sabotaging behaviors. Many people say they want to be in a relationship, however, are unaware of how they themselves are blocking that from happening. This is one of the main areas that I help singles looking for a relationship with. If you think you may be doing this and want to change this contact me here.
Dating & Relationship Help Advice from Relationship Expert Bree #5:
Once you found someone, the next step is to build a happy, healthy, and lasting relationship. This entails knowing what to do, what not to do, and allowing the right time frame for the relationship to develop. Going too slowly or moving too quickly are different ends of the spectrum but usually have the same result—-a failed relationship.
Dating and relationships can be very challenging when you do not have the right tools. Reading articles online or relationship-help books are a great place to start. If you need more than that then reaching out to someone with the credentials and experience is the next step. Remember the goal is to find the right person and create the relationship of your dreams!

Expect change with yourself, your partner, and your relationship together. So many people are afraid of change and will do everything they can to fight it. When this happens, it creates more problems than solutions. However, if each of you knows that you, your relationship, and life are ever changing, it makes moving through the change much simpler and easier.
Relationship Help For The Down Times From Relationship Expert Bree #6:
Never Sweep things under the rug hoping they will just go away-they will not! This is such a huge mistake many couples make in their relationships. Instead of dealing with an issue head on, they ignore it causing it to worsen. Therefore, it is very important to always address your feelings and issues as they come up in your relationship.
